The Blessings Ehsan Ghazneii Sure all of you have read and/ or heard some very interestingfacts about the miraculous properties of fresh fruits and vegetables. Certainly, you admit that they are among great blessings Allah has bestowed upon us. Here, we have selected, for your benefits, some material on the Qur’anic view on some of these blessings such as: dates, olives, figs, bananas, pomegranates.“It is He Who produces gardenstrellised and without trellises, and palm-trees and crops of diverse produce, olives and pomegranates, similar and dissimilar. Eat of its fruits when it fructifies, and give its due on the day of harvest, and do not be wasteful; indeed He does not like the wasteful.”The Holy Qur’an, Al-Anam 141
“In the earth are neighboring terrains [of diverse kinds] and vineyards, farms and date palms growing from the same root and from diverse roots, [all] irrigated by the same water, and We give some of them an advantage over others in flavor. There are indeed signs in that for a people who apply reason” The Holy Qur’an, Al-Ra’d 4
“With it He makes the crops grow for you and olives, date palms, vines, and fruits of all kinds. There isindeed asign in that for a people who reflect.” The Holy Qur’an, Al-Nahl 11
