“And proclaim the Hajj to people: they shall come to you on foot and on lean camels coming from distant places, that they may witness the benefits for them, and mention Allah’s Name during the known days over the livestock He has provided them. …..” Holy Qur’an, 22: 27-28

Dear readers,

As we see in the Holy Qur’an, Allah – the Most Gracious has clarified to us that the Hajj pilgrimage has certain advantages (Manafi’a) for the Islamic Ummah. Regarding this topic, no doubt, thousands of pages can be written. Yet here, we desire to draw your esteemed attention to the vital issue of unity of the Muslims which can best be materialized through Hajj.

Needless to say, the advantages of unity for the Muslim world are many and that is why the enemies of Allah who are in fact the enemies of humanity, have always tried to create dispersion among Muslims. To fulfill the evil goal, they resort to various means, including creating sectarian discords in the Muslim world, so the Muslims will get involved in fighting among themselves and thus forget about their real enemies – the world arrogant powers, Zionists and their allies and to forget the Palestine cause, the occupation of Al-Quds.

The damned “Daesh” is obviously one of the products of the ominous plots of the world-devouring powers. They most mercilessly shed the blood of both Shi’a and Sunni Muslims all in the name of Islam.

For sure, under their fateful conditions, the Muslim nations should use all ways to unite their hands and hearts in the face of their blood-thirsty enemies. As per Qur’anic teachings, the Hajj Pilgrimage is one of the most fruitful opportunities for the Muslims to achieve the advantage of unity and thus nullify the ‘Divide and Rule’ policy of the colonialist wolves. No Muslim should ever forget that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) has repeatedly enjoined unity upon Muslims.
