Women play a more active role in society. Religious gatherings at holy sites help women to further strengthen their awareness. During the Intifada, women, girls and even elderly women rushed to help the young men by chanting slogans. This participation in the revolution affected the personality of women and made them strong and patient and helped them stand up against the enemy through patience and reliance on God.
